Alexa is a licensed professional counselor who meets her clients where they are at and seeks to understand their unique story and worldview. Alexa provides her clients with and open, safe, non-judgmental environment to address important life issues, and she offers support, motivation, guidance, education and empowerment to help people overcome life’s obstacles. Alexa helps her clients to cultivate a more broad-minded thinking process that allows them to regulate their thoughts, feelings & behaviors in a healthier way including effective communication, stress management, problem solving & decision-making skills are addressed as well.
Alexa earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Roosevelt University in 2015, and earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in 2018. Throughout her education and career, Alexa has worked with individuals suffering from trauma, depression anxiety, adjustment and addictions to drugs and alcohol. She has worked with patients of all ages, from young adolescents through adulthood.
