Hilary Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a master’s in Counseling Psychology from Adler School of Professional Psychology and a master’s of Health Science – Addiction Studies from Governors State University. She believes that life has recurring cycles – challenges, growth, setbacks, and breakthroughs, each one offering an opportunity to learn and improve. These patterns can help us to gain deeper insights into ourselves and the world around us.
How do you apply this idea of cycles to your own life? Do you find that certain patterns or lessons come up often for you? Life can be complicated and scary at times, as is taking that first step in reaching out for help. Hilary’s passion is to help people lead their best lives by understanding the patterns they identify and improving their lives.
Hilary’s approach to counseling is an integrated approach utilizing evidenced-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and solution focused therapy.
“Our mind produces our greatest fears, our worst outcomes and our greatest achievements” – Hilary Harris
