Reba is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She is passionate about working with individuals and couples and is trained in the Couples Synergy model from Dr. Ray & Jean Kadkhodaian. Reba also specializes in
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a technique that uses eye-movements and voluntary image replacement to alleviate all types of symptoms from PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and more.
Additionally, Reba holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration which gave her a platform to work with young adults and a wide array of experiences, broadening her understanding of different populations. Reba’s approach to counseling is an integrated therapeutic style using evidence-based therapies such as ART, psychodynamic theory, person-centered therapy, trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, and multicultural counseling.
Reba loves to travel and meet people from all walks of life. She actually met her husband while she was visiting India. Growing up, Reba had over 30 exchange students from all over the globe stay with her in her home at various times. This experience helped Reba open her mind to different cultures and fueled her desire to see the world. Reba appreciates that every client comes in with different backgrounds and different experiences in life. Reba’s motto is to meet her clients where they are at when they come in.
“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.” – Wayne Dyer
