Join our wonderful Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center team! Our outpatient counseling private practice is seeking a motivated Mental Health Counselor! This position requires the candidate to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Position Requirements:

Active, unrestricted State of Illinois license as an LPC, LCPC, LCSW or LMFT.

Position Preferences:

• Prior private practice experience 
• Interest in doing couples counseling 
• Training in EMDR

This is a Contractor position.

Pay: $50 – $65 base rate per session depending on licensure and experience. As a Contractor, the person in this position will be compensated for each session hour had with a client.

Potential to make up to $85,000 a year

Must have weekend availability as there is high demand for Saturdays

There are two shifts for each day and together, we can find a schedule that works well for you!

Here is a potential schedule for this position:

Monday: 12:30pm – 9pm
Tuesday: 5pm- 9pm
Thursday: 12:30pm – 9pm
Friday: 9am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 9am – 1:00pm
